Plot Synopsis: Alex (Bernal) and Nica (Furstenberg) are young, in love and engaged to be married. The summer before their wedding, they set off on a backpacking trip in the Caucasus Mountains in Georgia. As the two marvel over the jaw-dropping beauty of the mountains, things seem magical.
And then, in one single terrifying moment, a momentary misstep threatens to undo everything the couple believed about each other and about themselves. Unable to rely on one another, the wide-open wilderness suddenly seems to them completely remote - and darkly forbidding.
