I stumbled across an odd little website - quite literally, using the StumbleUpon browser app - that looks to be a bit of viral marketing geared towards the horror crowd.
The site had supposedly been made by an NY college student after he had purchased a lot of cheap furniture from Craigslist and recovered with it an 8mm film and some faded photographs of some 'disturbing' events. The link below will bring you to the full story.

The story, film, and site all seem just a little too good to be true, and a quick check via a WhoIs manager on the domain shows that domain is protected - unlike most sites, you can't glean information on who registered it, with what company, and when - a common practice in viral marketing sites.
However, I've yet to find any inkling of what film it might be prepping for; anyone have ideas?
