Who is YOUR Favorite 'The Walking Dead' Character?

I think the vast majority of genre fans have come to truly love, The Walking Dead. While a few have quipped that the series hit a lull late in the first season, I would disagree, completely. The action has remained consistent though controlled, the gore is as gratifying as ever and the character development is as remarkable now as it was upon the first initial airing of the very first episode.

Through nearly ten total episodes thus far (between both seasons) we’ve seen seemingly significant characters killed, disappear and on occasion transform into the undead. We’ve been surprised, and we’ve been saddened, and that’s part of what makes this show so special; the humanity behind it.

I now propose a general question to the Bidite nation, who is your favorite Walking Dead character, and why?

BTW, I'm going with Daryl all the way. Reedus kicks ass, and it's nice to see there's a little sympathy buried in Daryl, despite the rugged outward appearance.

In the comics, Andrea 100%. In the show, either Dale or Glenn.

The show truly makes Andrea look craptastic, which disappoints me quite a bit. She's such an awesome badass in the comics.

Dale is a pretty cool character in the AMC series. He's genuine, caring, wise and looks out for others. I've grown attached to him. Glenn is fun to follow and AMC's Glenn is exactly like how I imagined him in the comics. I also really like Morgan and his son. The first episode was absolutely amazing and I felt for Morgan and Duane.

The show is pretty amazing, but it's really super difficult for me not to compare to the comics, which I love so much more.

unfortunately ive never checked out the comics. Is it an ongoing run, or a mini series type of deal? Recommendations onn where to pick them up?

It's about an 89 comic series. You can get the graphic novels which puts 10 or so comics or so into a "Book 1, book 2, etc" collection on Amazon for $20. I have a couple of them, they are fairly good reads so far.

I'd probably be a mix of Dale and Morgan. Compassionate survivor...with rifle and scope ;)

I dislike all the characters, which is why I hate The Walking Dead , because it's all characters, all the time. It got really bearing after the third episode. I tried watching the season 2 pilot and giving the show another chance, but hated that as well. I even guessed who shot ****** at the end because it's so predictable.
