Alan Ball Stepping Away From "True Blood"

New postby zombie10 » Mon Feb 27, 2012 7:50 pm

Alan Bell, writer and producer for the hit vampire television series,True Blood, is apparently taking a break from the show.

Forbes is reporting that the writer is very tired and stepping down due to exhaustion. Here's what was stated:

"Explanations include exhaustion, and maybe that the show seemed like it had tired blood last season. Ball will still be with the show, I’m told, but a new regime will guide the fates of the characters into their new season."

So what can expect of the show from here on out? Is a new face what the show needs, or is the show dying a slow death after a somewhat disappointing fourth season?

Either way look for season five premiering later this summer.
