THE HOUSE ON THE EDGE OF THE PARK Gets a Sequel

New postby Brian Massey » Sat Apr 16, 2011 1:03 pm

According to the good folks over at UHM. The Ruggero Deodato classic is finally getting a sequel. The House on the Edge of the Park was released way back in 1980, and it quickly drew a lot of controversy mainly in the UK by the BBFC due to its spicy content. As a result the movie was forced to be cut in 2002 by almost 12 minutes in order to comply with the BBFCs standards. To this day and uncut version hasn't been available in the UK. Currently the sequel is being produced by North Bank Entertainment and its listed as being in Pre-Production with a release date of 2012. Giovanni Lombardo Radice will be returning as his role of "Ricky." In case you don't remember Ricky was sent to prision in Sing Sing for 30 years. The movie starts with Ricky being released, and returning back to NYC. Ricky soon finds himself involved with a sociopath name "The Poet," and his equally menacing girlfriend, Muriel. Soon after the memories of Alex begin to torment him.
