As revealed by Variety, Erica Ash will be next in line to join the previously annnounced Ashley Tisdale in Dimension's "Scary Movie 5." Ash, who is best known for her work on "MADtv" will play a friend and rival dancer to Tisdale's character.
Scary Movie 5 will lampoon Black Swan, Paranormal Activity, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, and 127 Hours. David Zucker, who wrote and directed both Scary Movie 3 and 4, will also be returning to co-write and produce the fifth installment alongside director Malcolm Lee.
Look for the film to begin production this summer with a release date set for January 11, 2013.
