PA3 directors Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman are expected to return to the helm for the fourth film, but at this time of writing their deals have still not been finalized yet. Zack Estrin (writer/executive producer on ABC's "The River"), will handle the writing duties. As expected, the storyline is still under wraps, so stay tuned for further updates.
The first Paranormal, which cost about $15,000 to produce and opened in a limited run in September 2009, went on to gross $193.4 million worldwide. Paranormal 2 cost about $3 million to produce and grossed $177.5 million worldwide.
Paranormal Activity 4 is slated to open nationwide on October 19th.
