Daniel Radcliffe To Star In The Supernatural Thriller 'Horns'

New postby Brian Massey » Fri Jul 13, 2012 5:45 pm

It seems as if thesp Daniel Radcliffe is developing a bit of a sweet tooth for the horror genre. Starring earlier this year in Hammer Films "The Woman in Black,"the English actor now has his eyes locked on a new film - the supernatural fantasy/thriller "Horns."

As per Variety, Radcliffe will portray the number one suspect for the rape and murder of his girlfriend in the upcoming film -- which is based on the novel by Joe Hill. He awakens one morning to find horns starting to grow from his own head and soon realizes their power drives people to confess their sins and give in to their impulses -- an effective tool in his quest to discover the true circumstances of his late girlfriend's tragedy.

"Horns" is being directed by the French filmmaker Alexandre Aja who's rise to stardom began with the 2003 horror film Haute Tension (High Tension).

Shooting is slated to begin this fall, with Red Granite Pictures' international sales arm will handling the foreign sales.

Stay tuned for more.
