Shawn Levy's "Frankenstein Project" Rejected By Fox

20th Century Fox were set in a deal to fund an new take on the classic tale Frankenstein, with Shawn Levy set to direct. The story,written by Chronicle writer Max Landis was set to take a much different twist on the tale, focusing on different themes than the usual monster tale.

But unfortunately it looks like we'll be waiting much longer than we thought for this film. Fox apparently ditched the project after Levy's set budget of 80 million dollars.

So were left to wait until hopefully another company picks up the film or atleast Levy lowers his set budget, but either way hopefully this film will still see life someday.
