February 8th, 2010 Seriously? Come on people this is a viscous rumor to draw attention right? The fine folks at Cinema Blend are reporting that according to their sources Universal Pictures is "strongly considering a remake of the 1975 Spielberg classic, JAWS in hopes of dazzling younger audiences with new (Avatar esq) special effects." Ok so far sounds plausible right? Studio cashing in on 3D technology with a remake. Ok, we buy it but Tracy Morgan as Matt Hooper? Nope!!!
